Tracey A. Silverstein, RN, BSN, is a highly experienced nurse and clinician with over 25 years of clinical experience in the fields of Exercise Physiology, Critical Care Medicine, Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine, and Complex Cardiovascular Disease. She has spent years serving as a staunch patient advocate and nurse navigator to guide patients through all aspects of their care. She has also provided front line care following natural disasters around the world and here at home. Frequently described by her patients as their “guardian angel,” Tracey brings an extraordinary level of compassion to every patient interaction. She has spent the majority of her career at the University of Chicago working with highly dynamic teams and brings that experience in addition to her deep empathy and palpable caring nursing skills to MD For Patients.
